1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our training platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have legal parental consent) and agree to comply with these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
2. Account Registration
To enroll in courses, you must create a personal account using accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Updating your information to keep it current
Solar Canada reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.
3. Payments and Refunds
All tuition fees and payments are processed securely through our approved payment provider.
- Course access is granted only after successful payment.
- Refund requests must follow the refund policy stated on the registration page or course enrollment agreement.
- Prices and course availability are subject to change without notice.
4. Course Access and Use
Enrollment grants you personal, non-transferable access to the purchased course materials. You may not:
- Share, copy, resell, or distribute course materials
- Record or publicly broadcast live or recorded sessions
- Use our training materials for commercial purposes without written consent
Violation of these terms may result in removal from the course without refund.
5. Certification and Completion
Completion of a Solar Canada course does not guarantee NABCEP certification. Students must meet all NABCEP eligibility and exam requirements independently. Certificates of completion are issued only after all course modules and assessments are successfully completed.
6. Hands-On Training Waiver and Safety Notice
For any hands-on or in-person training sessions, participants acknowledge and accept the following:
- Solar Canada provides instruction and supervision to promote safety, but participation involves inherent risks associated with the use of electrical tools, equipment, and solar components.
- Students must follow all safety instructions provided by instructors at all times.
- By participating, students assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, or property damage that may occur during the training.
- Solar Canada, its instructors, partners, and affiliates are not liable for any personal injury, accident, or damages incurred during participation in hands-on or field training.
- By enrolling, students agree not to hold Solar Canada or its staff legally responsible and waive any right to sue in connection with such activities.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials, videos, and digital content are owned or licensed by Solar Canada. These materials are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or modified without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Solar Canada is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in any training, including but not limited to data loss, system errors, or missed certification opportunities.
9. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time to reflect operational, legal, or program changes. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
